I am a Weight Management specialist, with lots of experience working within the RIO service. I offer a wealth of knowledge and expertise, with the latest research and findings coming from this leading field in how to achieve and maintain a health weight.

Personal training is exactly that – PERSONAL! So, here’s a little about me to help you decide upon the right coach for you...
I thoroughly enjoy exercise and the boost of energy it gives me to be at my best. When not training clients, you’ll find me off surfing, out on my bike or simply stretching out on my yoga mat, exploring my own realm of possibilities!
This spirit and enthusiasm helps me to better motivate and inspire others to reach their optimum levels of well being.
I have developed a high level of experience and a well-qualified skill set in the fields of personal training and health & fitness, over some fourteen years, working as a trainer and therapist around the globe. Returning home from Australia in 2009, I set up The Body Buddy so I could share my knowledge and experience to help others.
The Body Buddy has grown to now provide a variety of lifestyle management services to individuals, groups and corporate clients, here in the UK and overseas.
My services have been sought by one of the UK’s leading NHS weight management facilities, as a Specialist Exercise Therapist to 2000 patients, with the latest research and advice on how to lose weight and maintain a healthy lifestyle.
Embarking on the journey to become a yoga teacher in 2013, moved me to become a more considered, “whole-istic”, spiritual and perceptive coach.
I consider my purpose and dedication here, to you, is to help you bring about change in order to be the best version of yourself.
Working with The Body Buddy, you will be guaranteed a coach full of compassion, empathy, support and intuition, developed from years of experience of working closely with clients, knowing how to create a safe and nurturing path for you to move forwards with your health and fitness goals.

She listened carefully to all my concerns and doubts and planned a challenging, yet achievable programme which quickly started to pay dividends.
Alicia’s key strengths, quite apart from her in-depth technical knowledge are her interpersonal skills – she listens, she cares and it is as important to her as to the individual she is training that you achieve your goals. She also uses a holistic approach – working on the physical fitness, whilst building mental confidence and providing sound nutritional advice.
Over the 14 weeks before I went to Costa Rica with Alicia’s help I lost over 3 stone in weight, improved my physical fitness enormously and gained self confidence through my achievements.

As soon as I saw the announcement that Alicia had arrived at Bawtry Health and Fitness I rang to make my first Personal Training session. She seemed just what I needed to get my fitness back and lose weight.
At my first session Alicia gave me a full in depth consultation, checked my blood pressure, weight, body fat, measurements and calculated my BMI. Next she made some dietary recommendations for me to follow over the following few days, prior to my first PT session.
